Associate Professor, Department of Environment,
Resource and Development Economics.
Prof. Zhang received his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Tokyo
University of Agriculture. He is currently the Director of China Center
for Credit Research and a consultant for Agricultural Policy, Beijing
City. Before joining the School of Economics, Professor Zhang taught
in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Tokyo University of
Agriculture (1993-1996) and served as the director researcher in the
Norinchukin Bank, Tokyo (1996-2000). His research areas include economic
policy and industrial organization, environment economics and theory
of agricultural cooperation, Eastern Asia economy and Japanese economic
system. Prof. Zhang teaches courses on Development Economics, Agricultural
Economics, Japanese Economy and Finance, as well as Credit Risk Control
and Management. |
