Associate Professor, Department of Public
Finance.
Prof. Yuan received her Ph.D. in Management from Peking University in 2003.
Between 2003 and 2004, she visited UC Berkeley as a Research Fellow
with funding support from China Scholarship Council. Prof. Yuan¨s
primary research fields include microeconometrics, labor economics,
statistics, empirical public finance and empirical industrial organization.
She has published several papers in leading economic journals in China.
Currently, her research interests concern quasi-experiment analysis
of China¨s tax reform and public policy. Prof. Yuan teaches Applied
Statistics, Econometrics and Mathematical Economics for undergraduate
and offers Advanced Econometrics with focus on empirical tools in
labor economics at graduate level. |
