Prof. Xiao is the standing member and Deputy Director of the Social and Legal Committee of CPPCC, editor-in-chief of Economists, Vice President of the National Society of the History of Marxism Economic Theory, Director of the State-Owned Property Research Society of China, Director of Chinese Market Economy Research Society, and the winner of the first ‘Sun Yefang Economic Science Award’. Prof. Xiao's research interests include financial markets; Chinese macroeconomy and economic development strategies; Maxism economic theory.
