Prof. Xia received his PhD in Economics from the University of Bath, UK. Currently Prof. Xia is the director of macroeconomics group of the School of Economics, Peking University. He also serves on the editorial broad of International Journal of Economics and Society. Prof. Xia’s research interests are in the areas of empirical labour economics, income inequality and poverty measurement, and applied econometrics. Prof. Xia teaches courses on Time Series Analysis, Advanced Microeconomics, and Topics of Western Economics at graduate level.
