Prof. Liu is the Party Secretary of the School of Economics, Director of the faculty of Western Economics and History of Foreign Economic Thoughts, member of the Director Board of the Institute of International Economic Theory Studies, member of the Editorial Committee of Economic Science. Prof. Liu's research interests include education economics; applied microeconomics; the development of modern western economic theories; western economic theory and Chinese economic reform.
