Prof. Du received her Ph.D. in Economics from Peking University in 1997. She was a visiting scholar to the Department of Economics at Harvard University. Her research focuses on the history of economic thoughts, environment and resource economics and sustainable development, and investment theory. She has published numerous articles in the economics and finance journals. The courses that Prof. Du has taught include History of Foreign Economic Thoughts, History of Financial Economics, Topics on the History of Western Investment Theory and so on.
