The Department of Risk Management and Insurance provides training
in the following three fields: theories and practice of insurance,
risk management, and insurance actuary. It endeavors to train qualified
professionals for positions in risk management and insurance business,
as well as academics with research and teaching fields in risk management
and insurance. Besides those who continue their education for advanced
degrees, the graduates have mainly worked in three types of organizations:
(1) International and domestic banks, insurance companies, security
investment firms, accounting firms, and investment fund; (2) government;
and (3) higher education and research institutions. |
