Xuanjuan Chen
Xuanjuan
Chen is an assistant professor of finance in Cameron School of Business
at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She received her
Ph.D. in finance and insurance at the University of Rhode Island. Her
research interests include asset pricing, catastrophic risk management,
mutual fund performance, earnings management, and corporate finance.
Her works has been published in the Global Finance Journal. She is an
ad hoc reviewer for Financial Review. She is an active member of the
American Risk and Insurance Association, the American Finance Association,
and the Financial Management Association. She has won the Shin Research
Excellence Award from International Insurance Society and the Distinguished
Paper Award from Decision Sciences Institute.
